First of all I want to apologize for a long absence from posting. Most people don't know that in the last few months since my last post on April 1, 2018 I have been living through a highly contested civil uprising against a tyrannical government which has lead to the deaths of hundreds and kidnappings of hundreds more. In this time I have had friends kidnapped tortured and almost killed. Friends flee the country. I personally have been shot at by police in a crossfire, been held at gunpoint and stripped of all my belongings, been watched for over 5 days by men on motorcycles and during the robbery an attempt was made to force me into an unmarked vehicle which I fortunately was able to avoid. I have had to hide and this has included moving 4 times, lost a relationship of 3 years and met the love of my life and married for the first time. This has been one hell of an expirience which I wish on no ones country and as I have found a bit more stability in a new place I call home with my wife with secure and hidden IP addressess I feel like I should be able to commit to more writings on a regular basis. This is what I live for, crypto currency is the key to economic freedom which in turn leads to social stability. My plan before this upheaval was to bring awareness to Nicaragua and it continues to be my plan. Despite my ability to just up and leave as I am a United States citizen, I will not abandon my people in a time of need as I consider both countries to be my home. I can only hope to continue to expand my influence and perhaps inspire others to help our cause through the website which will be live soon or give us a like on Facebook where I have built a following of over 100K on Nicaragua Libre. All is not well here yet, things have quieted down but the air is extremely tense. It almost feels like the calm before the storm. Like Charles Dickens said, "It was the best of times it was the worst of time".

The Virtual Commodity Association has announced the addition of Bitstamp, Bitflyer and Bittrex to it's ever growing and influential co-op. September 2018, is scheduled to be a large meeting of the exchanges to attempt to create market standards in an unregulated US virtual asset markets. This will play a major role in creating consumer confidence at the institutional level which is still weary of the unpredictability and volatility of the markets. As of this writing there is no Central Authority overseeing and managing multiple crypto exchanges operating within the United States.
(ONT) Ontology; has released wallet version 0.8.3/0.8.4. The new update will allow for token swaps which were not possible in previous versions.
(USDT) Tether; continues to stir the pot of controversy by releasing another $ 415 million worth of new Tether into the markets. Keep in mind that USDT considers itself a “stable coin”, which represents a value to the US dollar of 1/1. Tether is currently holding the number 8 spot on CoinmarketCap in terms of total Market Cap, just edging out Cardano and Monero in the top 10.
A Bitmex Research Group has spent some time researching Satoshi Nakamoto with information that can be verified and gathered and have concluded that Nakamoto at the moment holds around 700,000 Bitcoins. Putting Bitcoins price at $6,500 would give this amount a total worth of around $3,920,000,000 USD. The more astonishing figure is the value at bitcoins peak around 20K which well calculate at a modest 19K and the numbers are baffling. In December Nakamoto's Bitcoin would be valued at $13,300,000,000 USD. WoWzers!
Binance has announced a return to normal withdrawals of NEO/GAS assets, after expiriencing a period of abnormal activity.
(GBYTE) Byteball has remained true to it's core belief in simplicity with the announcement of it's most recent update to it's network which will allow users to send and receive the assets using usernames instead of the long encrypted addresses which are so common now. Ex: @johnwick
(XRP) Ripple; has found Strong support on the 21 EMA as it's price appears to be reversing and possibly be ascending once again after months of decline. That is if the technical analysis is to be accurate, but we all know the market plays by it's own rules.
(DCI) Decoin is a startup which is still in the ICO stage through October 26th, promises to be one of the first exchanges that shares revenues gathered from trading and fees to all customers holding DCI on it's exchange. Personally I feel like this has many of the characteristics of FCoinExchange, a Chinese exchange which I have been testing out which awards daily payouts in multiple crypto currencies to FT token holders. Daily payouts range for Bitcoin to more unknown assets such as FCANDY.
