Happy New Year 2018
If it didn't bring you joy
just leave it behind
Let's ring in the new year
with good thing in mind....
Let every bad memory
That brought heartache and pain
And let's turn new leaf
with the smell of new rain...
Let's forget past mistakes
Making amends for this year
sending you these greetings
to bring you hope and cheer
HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2018
Thank you for being one of the people
who made this world a wonderful place to live in.
I pray that you’ll be blessed with good health, security, success, peace and joy.
Happy New Year 2018 to @boxcarblue sir and your family
I’ll try to write a post that explains the food some time next week. When it comes to osechi, though, a lot of the time I don’t know what I’m eating. I just pick a piece and try it. I’ve found over the years that the taste of osechi can change a lot. This year, it was very pleasing to me. Maybe that just means that I’m becoming more accustomed to things here.
nice photos and also the foods are really look so delecious and tasty hope u are enjoyinig all these and happy new year to u hope this year brings many happines and joys for u
I like duck a lot. I don’t think I’ve ever had it in Japan, but I’ve cooked it a lot myself and always liked it. Plus, the duck I ate in France was top notch.
My wife, her sister, and my mother-in-law prepared a lot of the food, but the osechi was ordered from somewhere.
The shrine was nice. We were fortunate to have good weather this year. Did you make it out at midnight? I should check your blog and find out.
lol, no we passed out right after midnight. Too much booze. Father-in-law always likes to challenge me at drinking and me passing out is usually the result. I did take pictures of the bell tower the day before though!
I know all about those drinking challenges. They used to be fun, but I try to avoid them these days. I can’t affird to lose the following morning anymore.
I can’t say that I’ve ever thought duck tasted or even looked like ham. I’m definitely curious about the duck that you ate.
