I think this counts as my first post on #newsteem - and it is a bit of a shit post, but I am still siting here at work after a 10 hour day with a fair bit left to do. I don't think I am getting it done though tonight so, may as well fill in some of the dead space since no one else can post because they don't have enough Resource credits... oh hang on...

What you do with that link is up to you. This is #newsteem and when it comes to the distribution and redirection of rewards, it is up to us. I am hoping that the days of shit like that taking 500 STEEM with no comments on it are over, but that is up to the community with stake, and those who are handling the stake of the community.
My stake only goes so far and I also hope that the people who are front running this shit also choose to support members of the community who might bring a little more value than one automated comment to the ecosystem.
But, it is your stake, do as you please.
Well, I didn't have anything prepared to say for the start of #newsteem so this will have to do as a reminder that from now on, the entire community not on has the responsibility that it always did to keep the streets of Steem clean - they are actually incentivized to do so because moving Steem from the BS back into the pool to be directed to what and who is deserving is good for us all as both stakeholders, and users.
Let's see what good we can do in preparation for Hardfork22.

Seems it all went as it should guess the next few days will tell. Now need to figure out exactly how it all works. My very last post reduced by just under half I think. All the ones prior stayed the same. Will see how it goes.

Yep, there were some minor variations in mine but I am not sure what is making some drop and some increase so erratically. Looking forward to observing and taking part.
Guess we wait and see. Dont mind the ups too much. Lol. Its the downs that scare me. At least my wallet seems fine for now. As long as that remains as is. I am happy to trudge along.

Not really, I think it depends on who voted them. But I am unsure how it is going to affect going forward. That post I linked jumped up by 15 dollars or so - but don't go and downvote it or anything, ...but it is your stake ;D
So there is no upvote button on comments(It was a mistake, it is there!) Nice to see that. You get my first upvote after HF21. Hereafter we can freely downvote without having to have the fear of using up VP. But steemd is yet to change.
2.5 100% downvotes a day. use them liberally.

I am old school, I use steemit or the tribe condensers on mobile too :D
I went to Trending page and gave 2 100% downvotes to overpromoted posts which seemed like too little effort was put in. Couldn't do it from SteemPeak, so I did it from Steemit. Happy forking!

The HF21 has been smooth so far unlike the previous one that had very many hiccups!!
Will see how it affects the parts over the next days and weeks, at the moment it is too early to tell but I am glad there are some downvotes arriving

There will be ways coming to downvote and stay anonymous I am quite sure. THat way, those who want to stay in the shadows a bit more, can.

We survived. It was alot to take in. Voting rewards are alot less.
Will see how it plays out over time. To affect rewards the downvotes need to do their work at the right points. Over rewarded paid votes is the starting layer I think.
