SPL Identifies : FOMO - The Fear Of Missing Out
FOMO is a strong emotion that can drive anyone nuts. Everyone has a story of some missed opportunity, especially in the crypto world. The longer you live the more missing out you do, it’s simply a part of life. All we can do is try to learn and move on. Sometimes, a little perspective goes a long way to helping us not feel as though all is lost forever.
It’s All About Perspective
In this article in Cardplayer magazine, Doyle Brunson talks about the offer to purchase his poker site Doylesroom.com for $230 million. Doyle turned the offer down and soon after, in 2011, the United States Department of Justice cracked down on online poker sites across the board. Doyle was forced to step away with nothing.
It’s Not Just You!
Blockbuster Video had a chance to buy Netflix? Netflix needed cash to implement their new idea - streaming video. Blockbuster executives took the meeting and laughed at the $50 million offer for the streaming service.
In 1999 Excite refused to buy a young Google for 1 Million dollars. Google brought the price down to $750,000 and George Bell the CEO still said “no”.
In 2005 Myspace CEO Chris DeWolf backed out of a deal to buy The Facebook when Mark Zuckerberg demanded the sum of $75 Million.
M0ar Predictions and Advice from @bethalea
My advice is this; try your best to realize all of your opportunities in life. Blockchain and its associated technologies are set to explode in 2018. Buy and hodl all you can before mainstream adoption hits and everyone is using crypto. Don’t miss your chance to make some SBDs at lucksackscom, the largest cryptocurrency free roll poker site in the world. You’ll be glad you didn’t miss this one!
nice suggestion.. but this is not my field to play. thanks anyway..
Ilike this you post because it beatiful and klasik
Never look a gifthorse in the face, they say. That is, if you're offered something, take it. Whilst it obviously doesn't hold true for everything, for opportunities it often will. Should you indeed miss out though, try harder next time and don't rue your misfortune too much. Like buses, another opportunity will be along soon enough.
Said the man who missed the last bus and is now walking. ;)
