Speaking Without Speaking: Louis Farrakhan on Aretha Franklin's Funeral

Louis Farrakhan addresses the rumors on why he was 'silent' during Aretha Franklin's funeral services. Why was he not one of the people 'eager' to speak? Just a week or so ago, I shared thoughts from one of his followers, Brother Ben X; and his reasoning for why he was silent at Aretha Franklin's funeral seems to match up with what the Brotha Minister says below...

Often you can Speak without Speaking...

I'm not a follower of Islam, or the Nation, but I always enjoy what Louis Farrakhan has to share. He tends to speak 'beyond religion', and I appreciate that. The messages he shares, often are what 'we' as black people need .... We live in a society that 'knows' the truth about humanity and yet, covers up truth. The reasoning, seemingly is to control the people and live 'off of' people's energies.

For example, the Eye of Africa looks a whole lot like the 'mythical' continent of Atlantis. However, any admission of a time period of civilization that goes back 20,000, or even 50,000 years - destroys almost every religious paradigm. It suggests that there is a big 'secret' - that every few thousand years, humanity resets.

So why do we spend so much of this time, where we are in 'peace & prosperity' fighting, about so many things?

He truly commanded attention just by being in the house. "Speakers like to keep speaking". On that day, he says, God did not give him the 'spirit to speak', but instead he just wanted to mourn. There is truly a time and a place for all things. How much better could mankind be, if we all embraced this lesson?

We do not all, always, need to speak, all the time. We have two ears and one mouth, and wise men have suggested we should use them accordingly. "So many of us are just surface dwellers" ..... So true. We do not look deep enough into others, mainly, because we are too busy talking, too busy focused on our selves....

We do not get to know 'others' - even the religious leaders we follow....
