Windows 10 which comes default with the Edge Browser will now have a price of software called NewsGuard, which will filter news for everyone who uses it.

You can't really call anything that Edge's delivers as "News". The MSN feed is just the world according to Rupert Murdoch and celebrity gossip. No wonder it gets a healthy rating from Newsguard !
This is just another reason to use an alternate browser like Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera and the like. However, your point about inexperienced "mum & dad" users just using what they are given by default is correct and troubling.
