🗞 Special investigator Mueller will expand investigations against Trump's son-in-law Kushner

So far it was all about the Russian affair. But now the US special investigator Mueller is allegedly interested in the foreign affairs of Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Jared Kushner is said to have tried to raise money from foreign investors for his real estate projects during the election campaign in 2016 . Therefore, US special investigator Robert Mueller now wants to investigate outside the Russian affair against the son-in-law of President Donald Trump, reports CNN.

So far, the investigations were about Kushner's contacts with Russia and the indictment of Russia for influencing the US presidential election in 2016. Now Kushner's attempts during the election campaign to establish contacts with investors from 15 countries will be examined.

A week after Trump's election as US President, Kushner had met with the board of the Chinese insurance group Anbang, as the New York Times reported. Most recently, Kushner's efforts to raise funds for an office building in New York became public.

In the Russian affair Kushner came into focus at the end of last year: He is said to have instigated the former national US security adviser Michael Flynn to establish a connection with Russia, reported by several US media in unison on Friday.
