Kommentary: What would Margret Thatcher thought about BREXIT and the responsiblitity of the Brits towards the EU

I am somewhat astonisched that during the whole process of the BREXIT talks, not once from any Brits or from the Euroupeans has anyone brought up the responsiblity of England towards the Euroupean Union in the context of History.

We all still remmber or at least some of us when the Iron curtain fell between east and west Germany 1989-90 and the talks of reunification of the two Germanys was under way with all the paticipants at that time called the 4 +2 Talks. United States of America, Russia, England, France and the two parts of Germany, east (DDR) and west (BRD).

The worry at the time was if Germany Unified it would become again too powerful and dominate Europe again and History of WW1 and WW2 wanted to be avoided. In oder that this would be accomplisched Margret Thatcher demanded that the reunified Germany would have to be imbeded deeply into Europe including a single currency which would help to control and keep the checks and balances to avoid a possible WW3. Primminister M. Thatcher threatend with boycot not allowing the reunification if this wasen‘t accomplisched.

Now some 27 years later no one is talking about this within the context of the BREXIT talks. England should rethink their exit and take up their responsiblity towards France and Germany not to mention the whole of the EU. It is important that France and England together represent the counter balance to Germany in terms of the economic power and political discource.

It was the political will out of Brussels a few years ago that Germany take on a greater roll on the EU level which Germany unwillingly did, but over time it did knowing that this was accually not the intent from the onset of the Euro Zone. The Germans du not want the backlashes that come from trying to inforce the Rules of the Maasticht treaty that all 28 Memmbers of the EU have signed and many du not like Germany taking on such a roll even though it was well ment that Germany should take on a leading role in this respect especially ever since Chanclor Merkle is at the top rulling Germany for some 13 + years now with respect coming not just within Germany but throughout the world. Her time is slowly running out and no one really knows what will come after her and how stable the country still can be ruled

There are so many nationalities in the EU with so many different intrests and cultural backgrounds that it is irresüonsible from England to leave the EU even though they were the ones that were responsible for this structural difficult Euro Zone structur which from the beginning had faults build into it which would eventually cause havic in time, which was observed with Greece and some other Countries in resent years.

England should stand up and take pride of being part of this Union and live up to their responsiblity within the context of History. All they have to do is take back Article 50, the Article which is the formal asking towards the EU to leave as a memmber. The Brits have to convince their people not to leave France and Germany alone in juggeling this hugh peace project and help them and the rest of the community to correct errors from the past and for the futute try to integrate Russia into the club and stop playing Cold-War all over again. Otherwise the historiens will not have a lot of good to report about this era.

England, du the Germans and the rest of the EU a favour and stay. Call BREXIT off.
