this guys sounds legit. Is he on YT? Even though I understand the ridiculousness of leaving the SUN out of the equation, I would like to understand more about the work he's doing on this!
He is legit. I have seen numerous references to his work on wuwt.com, a site that delves into climate science where many climate scientists debate issues.

This can be done with any statistic. Me personally, I find it naive to assume that large think-tanks of some of the smartest people on Earth would get something like this wrong in their equation - by accident that is.
People will side with someone like Al Gore, who's profiting greatly by what he's saying. What makes you think these people would spend their time and money on something not true? He's not asking for money, just for other experts to look at the math.
If the reaction of the powers that be is any indication of whether or not they are correct, I would say they're on the right track!
People often despair that climate is such a complex issue, and the science so convoluted. However, 55mya (million years ago) CO2 was over 6000ppm (parts per million) and life was thriving on Earth.
Today CO2 is about 400ppm. It is quite obvious from this that even a ten fold increase in CO2 isn't going to cause catastrophic climate change.
That's math even a first grader can understand.
I think it presented in this fashion to discourage common folk from ever considering to verify the claim. Didn't Hitler say something to the effect of "for them to believe a lie, you must make the lie big"? Seems to be working...
Same goes for over population - Canada is almost 2.5 billion acres. We could give every man, woman and child a 1/4 acre in Canada and still have over 500,000,000 acres, with the rest of the world empty.
I do believe there is an intentional intent to alter the environment, which is being pinned on the every-man. Isn't it the governments in conglomeration with the corporations strip mining and destroying the Earth with toxic waste? Better put a carbon tax on my refrigerator.

There are so many basic scientific errors used carefully, to support the house of cards that is man made global warming; that even without looking at the data, a real scientist can tell this is doctored for a specific result.
This theory is pure Scientific Prostitution! :)
