Hi Dan, In my opinion, peaceful protest is the only way to change, I don't think that the violent protests will help create the changes we wish. Simply if enough of us protest peacefully they can't and wont shoot us. but if we act violently we will have given them them what they will call "justification" for violence against those, it is part of the Problem, reaction, solution meme that your guest knows about and talked about. If you look at the past history of violent protest in France we see more and more totalitarian fascist dictatorships come about. Look at Napoleon after the French Revolution...
