as Maxime Bernier has announced he’s leaving the Conservative party to start his own party! There have been other platforms that have launched to little success such as the “Canadian Action Party” however Bernier seems to have more clout than any other politician who has attempted the same.

Even though I don't trust this guy.....I trust him WAY more than any other leader of any party in Canada. If he comes close to winning, it will at least give the liberal lunatics a minority government and then push for another election and get him in then. Its worth a shot. I like what I’ve always heard from Bernier, but I fear all he’s going to do is split the vote to the point where Justin gets another term and that’s the last thing we need for Canada.
Given the current Liberal-Conservative-pretending-to-be-two-parties-passing-Canada-back-and-forth game that's been going down for decades, an alternative would be just fine. Jack Layton and the NDP almost pulled it off, but sadly, Layton succumbed to very timely cancer. Good luck to Bernier. He's up against a mountain of deceit, control, and very dangerous people.
