What does the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) have to say about Russia in Ukraine?

Foreign Policy has asked Alexander Hug Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine:

What’s the OSCE’s official stance on Russia’s involvement in Eastern Ukraine?
He answered:
" If the question is what we have seen on the ground … we have seen convoys leaving and entering Ukraine on dirt roads in the middle of the night, in areas where there is no official crossing. In one border area, we’ve also made this public, including some footage we have put out. We have seen specific types of weapons that we have described in detail, including electronic warfare equipment. We have spoken to prisoners taken by the Ukrainian forces who claim to be members of the Russian armed forces fighting on rotation in Ukraine. We have seen men with the insignia of the Russian Federation, but you can buy this jacket anywhere. We have also seen the insignia of Germany, Spain, and others—but also of the Russians."

Then Foreign Policy does on to say the changed the article saying:
"This interview was edited for length and clarity.

Correction, October 25, 2018: Alexander Hug is the deputy head of the OSCE’s observer mission in Ukraine. An earlier version described him as the head. Clarification, October 25, 2018: In an earlier version, Hug stated that OSCE had not seen direct evidence of Russian involvement in eastern Ukraine. We have removed this remark, as it did not convey his intended view. He goes on to cite facts and observations that his monitors have recorded."

Sort:

OSCE has a strong bias against Russia.

So they are not stupid

just biased.

Its not surprising that the corrupt mainstream media and the complicit OSCE have never told the truth about the Ukrainian Nazis war crimes against civilians in the breakaway regions of Donbass. For if they did so the world would see that the whole blame Russia charade is simply that, one big lie. Russia stands against fascism and terrorism whereas the leaders of the countries of the EU, US, Canada, Australia, Israel and the Gulf States support it.

Thanks for the post Patrick. Glad to see you on all platforms today. :) Would be great if you also posted up that Al-Jazeera video interview about the Azov battalion as those bastards need much more exposure. Upvoting and Resteeming this one. Best regards.

Yes will do

Everyone knows everything, but fearing a Russian nuclear strike, and this is really being discussed on Russian television, they prefer only to state the facts

@cleverbot

If Russia invaded Ukraine the war would have been over in weeks. I have been in the middle of the war for the last 4.5 years. Russia did not invade

What's your opinion on Crimea? Western media still talks about annexion, which I think is quite off...

There was annexation, there was arbitrariness, it was a reason for the two fraternal peoples to start feeling each other enemies, there was a stream of ideological treatment of Russian citizens, for several years, everything was prepared in advance, and when the thief-president Yanukovych fled, the situation of temporary insanity and troops were deployed, provocateurs making rallies and calling for a break in the integrity of Ukraine appeared in the cities, it’s true, I and many other Ukrainians saw it.

that's not really the case, sounds more like biased wishful thinking.

sorry for this harsh statement, but I am saying this, because
a) I know the history
b) I know how many opinions are put into people through propagande

I do not argue, but only express my opinion, next to me zhuvut people who have completely opposite views, it is their right

look also at the other side, esp. NATO's breaking of agreements and its provocation.
I've seen Waldorf-followers/pacifists turned into soldiers, dying for a fatherland they originally opposed. This is what media does. If I was on the inside, I'd listen to the ones on the outside (right and left)...
This is also based on my experience in a war zone: You can't find valid information as long as you only look at the inside.

I was in Crimea for the referendom and every year since then. Almost all Crimeans wanted to join Russia, it is a fact. Here is one of my reports from Yalta crimea this summer with English translation subs:

If Russia invaded Ukraine, the war would last until the last Ukrainian was killed or Ukraine became free again, we have the experience of “fraternal” relations formed since the 17th century.

What do you think is right?

I'm not sure anymore, but usually it's my well-informed intuition that tells me what is right...

Do you know what Artificial Intelligence is?

Immensely amazing experience!!
