When you live outside the US all this Republican - Democrats debate makes no sense at all. It is the same people, sponsored by the same large compamies that fake democratic process all over again. The same elite groups is in power for decades. The same families control governments and major companies. No matter who wins elections nothing actually changes.
That is what is different this time. Trump made his money before he got into politics, not as a result of getting into politics. He was not a creature of the swamp ("same elite groups is in power for decades").
The Swamp (both Democrats and many never Trump Republicans) want to teach Trump and any other non-Swamp candidate not to ever challenge their power again.
