67 gun homicides in Chicago this year - what is being done about it
I loved how Dana Loesch called out CNN and the mainstream media in this video.
I thought we should also ask
- Mayor - Rahm Emanuel
- Attorney General - Jeff Sessions
what they are doing to to reduce these gun deaths and:
- reduce illegal guns
- stop straw purchasers
Not much if you look at the number of cases where no suspect was charged in 2017
Chicago will always be the thorn in the paw of those seeking to ban guns. All you have to say is Chicago, homicide rate. Strict gun laws there are doing exactly what gun supporters fear, only the bad will have them. I dont know about you, but I have always heard never bring a knife to a gun fight...and do not intend too.
Trump said to black voters "what do you have to lose?"
He is relying on Jeff Sessions to enforce the law and get these illegal guns off the street - and thereby reduce gun deaths in cities like Chicago.
It is a very big responsibility for Jeff Sessions and I used to think he was up to the task - but I am worried because he has turned out to be ineffective in many other areas of his job.
Trump should give him some KPIs. Get gun deaths in Chicago to down below XX by YY or you are fired.
Completely agree. I know of Sessions past and I really believe that he was going to go in there and do a better job. He has a past that is checkered with racial issues and accusations, so Trump giving him this opportunity spoke volumes the way I saw it. He believes in you, weather some of it was true of not, prove you are different man from the earlier days by being an effective AG and start the ball rolling on big issues and hot spots such as Chicago. It seems though, he's more concerned about pot laws and butting heads with Trump. Im not super please with him. Is he better than Holder and Lynch, hell yes, so's 2 billy goat, but hell, at least Holder and Lynch accomplished directives laid out and/or supported by Obama. Sessions so far for Trump, not so much.
