Muslim car celebrating Eid al - Fitr in Newcastle

Six people were injured after a car ran over a number of Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr in Newcastle, England.

Local authorities said police did not consider the incident, in which a 42-year-old woman was arrested, "a terrorist."

Police said the incident occurred at 8:15 am in front of the Westgate Sports Center in Newcastle, where Muslims were present to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

A police statement said it was under investigation to find out the circumstances of the incident, which is not believed to be a "terrorist" so far.

London has seen on 19 of this month an incident of an attack on Muslims also, as the British citizen Darren Osborne, a number of worshipers near the mosque Finsbury Park north of the British capital, killing one person and the fall of about 10 injured.
