Sony has registered the patent of a screen with cameras, facial recognition and eye tracking, to play in 3D without using special glasses.
Holographic Display Screen, it is a screen that will be able to project holographs through a light emitter and a large number of micro mirrors, which can tilt and move at high speed
The eye tracking and facial recognition technology will make it unnecessary to have to sit in front of the TV, as this would help the consoles know the player's distance to the screen and the viewing angle.
The screen will be intended for multiplayer games on the company's consoles such as PlayStation 4 without the need for 3D glasses.
It will also not be exclusive to Sony and will be compatible with competing consoles such as the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
