DUGIN: The End of Atlanticism and the Rise of the Heartlands
Published 2019-03-13 19:12:11 by Guest Author in Eurasia, France-Eurasia, Germany, RussiaBy Alexander Dugin Published on: Mar 13, 2019 @ 19:12 The classical schools of geopolitics recognize a deep dualism between the Civilization of Land (Heartland) and the Civilization of Sea. As Mackinder said, he who controls Eastern Europe, controls Heartland, and he who controls Heartland, controls the world. Geopolitics is the battle for Heartland. In the bipolar world,... Continue ->

Poroshenko's Defeat All But Certain - Zelensky overtakes incumbent: so what's interesting about the new opinion poll?
Published 2019-03-13 17:23:45 by Joaquin Flores in Eurasia, Headline-News, UkraineThe famous actor Vladimir Zelensky who is best known for having played the role of 'Ukrainian President' on a popular TV show in the beleaguered country, is still the undisputed leader in the ranking among presidential candidates in Ukraine. According to a study by the Socis Center for Social and Marketing Research, 20.7% of respondents are ready to vote for Zelensky. Published 2019-03-13 16:50:11 by Joaquin Flores in Albania, Eurasia, Headline-News, Kosovo, Serbia, United-StatesBELGRADE - Serbian President Vucic appears to have outmaneuvered the Euro-Atlantic effort to push Serbia into an unacceptable deal regarding any recognition of Kosovo as an independent country. The achievement of a “comprehensive agreement on the full normalization of relations” between the Serbian authorities and the Kosovo separatists has been apparently postponed indefinitely. On March 7th, the “Kosovo Parliament” adopted a platform for negotiations with Belgrade, in which Serbia is actually required to recognize Kosovo’s independence within existing borders and not to hinder its entry into international organizations, including the United Nations. The document also provides for the formation of... Continue ->
