FISA MEMO RELEASED | Steele Dossier Used For FISA Warrants
After a week of anticipation the infamous FISA memo, drawn up by Devin Nunes and the House Intelligence Committee, is here. It summarizes the FBI and DOJs alleged secret and unconstitutional surveillance of the Trump campaign team in 2016 and 2017. Although this memo is currently without source material or evidence it is based on evidence the House Intel Committee has seen.
The now jobless Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, confirms in the memo that without the Steele dossier, an essential part of all three FISA applications against Carter Page, a FISA warrant would never have been granted. It also reveals that senior DOJ and FBI officials kept the origins of the Steele dossier from the FISA court when requesting further FISA warrants.

To many of us these new revelations won't come as much of a surprise, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. In a month or so another memo put together by the Office of the Inspector General is scheduled for release. This memo is expected to take a broader view of Dem corruption during the Russian investigation. Watch this space.

It may all end up being redacted or whitewashed in a typical display of unashamed back peddling and cover ups however it's my hope the Trump is going to do what he said from the beginning.

Hey. Yes I think most sane people are hoping this next memo will bring this madness to an end. But history tells us it'll more than likely be brushed under the carpet, never to be spoken of again. At least we will finally have proof though.

Can someone explain to me why we ever thought or should think or even want law enforcement to be unbias? Like, I don't get it. Determining that sort of thing is for the court system. We shouldn't care why the FBI found a crime. Just that they DID find a crime. And don't tell me that you know there wasn't a crime, because you have no fucking idea. Again, that is what the court system if for.
Any sort of intelligence agency under the influence or bias of one party or the other under can undermine the government or election of their opposing views/bias, they have that kind of power available to them. We would be run basically by what people call a shadow state, meaning they would influence or have the power to influence how government will run up to and including getting whom they want elected as a president.
I hate to burst your bubble, but, literally every agency is under the influence/bias of one of the parties There is literally no agency that is unbias. And because you have a bias doesn't mean you run a shadow state. BTW, we do have a shadow state, but you can just call it the donor class. Political donors run the government and its agencies. And not even in secret. They just outwardly admit it.

Funny how Republicans suddenly give a damn about having cause for phone taps. For 8 years of a Bush era public surveillance they apparently couldn't give a damn.
But it's good to know that Republicans will never allow any evidence to be used if the witness might not like the defendant regardless of the voracity of the facts. I mean no racist cop will ever be allowed to testify in the case of a person of color, it just wouldn't be fair. No Republican should be allowed to testify against a Democrat. Fair is fair right?
There is a legal basis to follow to obtain the facts in any case, that's a constitutionally guaranteed right. You can't set somebody up under false pretenses because you want to go fishing you have to prove there is something to fish for. Nobodies excusing past behaviors but it is only through discoveries like this that we can hope to keep the checks and balances in their proper perspective.

Looking forward to seeing what happens next! I guess my key area of concern is just because the likes of Clinton are potentially being thrown under the bus it doesn't necessarily mean that the people doing the throwing are the good guys. They may be arguing over methods/details and cutting loose the deadwood but doesn't mean the overall game/plan/direction is any different. Indeed at it's core this system owns/uses both sides in it's neverending quest for more power.
I know I'm speaking to the choir with you on this but my fear is that certain people within the alt-media may take their eyes of the ball. Losing the ability to take a step back and objectively look at the bigger picture. Thank you for bringing this to our attentiom @fortified
