Symptoms aren't causes. If Representatives were forthright in doing their job, they'd undertake gerrymandering that improved how we are represented. It doesn't because they aren't. The problem with representation is that corrupt criminals seek power to commit crimes, and the most competent criminals gain that power.

These are our representatives today, and what they are doing is not representing us - as is obvious from their self-aggrandizement regarding their pay and benefits - but working together in conspiracies to defraud us all (the public) to the degree possible. Collusion across industries slowly has emerged and been long refined as the enemedia, LEAs, and private industry have developed very efficient means of controlling the narrative so that we become the best cattle we can be.

I wish such a simple and easily fixed problem was at the root of our problems with governance. Sadly, the actual root is basic human nature and the structure of societal hierarchies, from which the various mechanisms of tyranny and corruption flower and fruit.

Since the power to impose every tyranny and corrupt criminal conspiracy depends on centralization of wealth and power, decentralization across fields seems to me to be a direct solution. Rather than depending on corruptible representation, withdrawing our participation from mechanisms that extract rent and concentrate it in walled gardens controlled by profiteers directly reduces such hoarded power, and enables individuals to retain it themselves.

It was you yourself that caused me to realize that technology always increases the power of individuals vs. groups, and it is this principle when combined with advancing nascent technological development of decentralized mechanisms that provides real hope and concrete improvements to our problem with governance. As continued development and broader adoption proceed, this improvement continues to grow in effectiveness.

Thanks!
