It's a fabulous visualization, taken from this exceptional report by elementus.io. There are a ton of other interesting tidbits in that report and I kindly recommend you to go read it for yourself, but if you're in only for the TL/DR version, here's my take on it:
- the explosion of ICOs in 2017 is very similar to viral spreading patterns, which means this new organism (the ICO) is capable of enormous replication strength
- the biggest ICO so far is of a state-regulate crypto, namely the Petro in Venezuela
- the second biggest ICO is EOS, which, in case you didn't know, was created by @dan, co-founder of BitShares and Steemit
- Romania, the country where I was born, is listed there with a surprising $73 million amount. Not bad, not bad at all...

I see that three biggest pies in the chart have happened in 2017-18 period. This is a very good indicator that future is going to be great for the cryptos!
It feels like money is too cheap. Too many investors all chasing new markets and rates of return.
May not be a great time as interest rates continue to climb and they'll be less liquid capital to toss around.
petro alone did a massive ico that's such a huge and on a large level ico
23 billion USD is a huge amount, but why we are in dip? :(
ICO has become a major way of funding blockchain projects and i see this major pattern increasing in the future together with tokenized SMT. Blockchain evolution is now transforming the world in the way funds are been raised
Wow 2018 was the world of ICO, with EOS is on the 2nd no, but I have seen people who don't love EOS much.
