The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) team summoned the Governor of Aceh from February 2002 to February 2012, Irwandi Yusuf, to undergo a hearing in the bribery case of the Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) in 2018.

"Irwandi Yusuf, Governor of Aceh for the period February 2002-February 2012, witnesses to the suspect Hendri Yuzal, special staff of the Aceh governor," said Febri Diansyah, KPK spokesman in Jakarta, Tuesday (22/7).

In addition, the KPK also summoned two other suspects in this case, namely Teuku Syaiful Bahri and Hendri Yuzal. But they will be examined as a witness to the suspect Irwandi Yusuf.

The Commission determined the Governor of Aceh, Irwandi Yusuf; Bener Meriah Regent, Ahmadi; and 2 people from private Hendri Yuzal and T Syaiful Bahri as suspects after being caught in Operation Capture Hand (OTT) on Tuesday (3/7/2018).

Ahmadi allegedly bribed Irwandi Yusuf and Hendri Yuzal and Syaiful Bahri totaling Rp 500 million. This is part of the Rp 1.5 billion requested by the governor related to the discussion of the special autonomy budget (otsus) in budgeting between provinces and districts of fiscal year 2018.

The money provided is part of the 8% fee commitment that is part of the official in Aceh Government for the ijon of infrastructure development projects sourced from Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) in Aceh Province in fiscal year 2018.

Giving to Governor Irwandi Yusuf was allegedly done through people near the governor of Aceh and Bener Meriah Regent who acts as an intermediary.

This year, Aceh received an allocation of special autonomy fund of Rp 8.03 trillion. The provision of special autonomy funds is contained in Law No. 15 of 2017 on State Budget of Revenue and Expenditure Year of 2018.

KPK suspects Ahmadi as a bribe broke Article 5 Paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of Law Number 31 Year 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 Year 2001 on Eradication of Non-criminal corruption.

While Irwandi, Hendri and Syaiful as bribery recipients allegedly violated Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of Law Number 31 Year 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 Year 2001 concerning the Eradication of Corruption in juncto Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code .
