This Day Just Keeps Getting Worse - Tom Petty Dead At 66
If the Las Vegas Shooting wasn't bad enough, I just heard the tragic news that Tom Petty, beloved musician and rock and roll legend, is dead at 66. :( :( :( I'm sorry, to all who loved him and his music. He was found unconscious suffering from cardiac arrest, according to TMZ. He was sent to the hospital in critical care, where he was pronounced brain dead, with an order to not resuscitate. He lived until just about midnight EST and passed away peacefully. I really liked him as a musician and I think he deserves tribute as a rocker, him being one of the big names of his era in music. He wrote hit singles like 'Runnin Down A Dream', 'I Won't Back Down', and 'Free Fallin'. I went to his concert at Fenway park a few years ago and it was the only concert I have been to that had a rock and roll legend. He touched a lot of lives with his music and a I know a lot of mega-fans. That's what I love about musicians; they bring everyone together to have a good time and enjoy dancing and singing along to the music they play. :)

:(... I saw him once, just went with a few friends. Not expecting too much. I know lots of his songs, but not my favorite genre. During the first 15 minutes I was in awe with his performance. After the show, I decreed it was the best show ever. It still hasn't been beaten by another show I've seen. Good-bye Tom, the world will miss you. 💔

Tragic...both the Las Vegas shooting and the passing of another rock and roll great. So messed up that music is to bring people together, but the Las Vegas terrorist chose to fire into a crowd at during a music festival. A sad sad day indeed.

after I consider there are so many positive things about steemit, as well as social media Steemit is also a medium for sharing knowledge and information. My other friends are also many who earn revenue from this Steemit, he said like that. But I do not think much about income, but in Steemit can support each other and share experiences with each other. That's where the interest I am increasingly dusty to immediately join with other Friends of Steemit.
