The Swedes decided that the caravan version of the 60 family was more important than the limousine, so they first introduced the V60 model. This autumn it will replace the current V60, which was put on the roads in 2011, and last year it was upgraded, which is why it has not been known for years. The design of the new V60 is no surprise at all because it is inspired by the larger V90 and you can barely notice the difference in the first look. After a good review, you see that the newcomer is made more like the XC60, so the 'Torovo hammer', which is called the shape of LED headlamps, is more complete, and the whole face is also a bit more daring.

Inside, it is also a mix of XC60 and V90 models, and there is no missing 9.3-inch touchscreen of a multimedia system, as well as digital meters. It's possible to get 529 liters of luggage into the trunk, which is more than direct competitors have. There are even more advanced security systems, including automatic emergency braking, pedestrian, bicycle and larger detection systems, which also automatically brakes in the event of detection. A driver is also available for the partial auto-ride, which can accelerate and brake on the marked roads to a speed of 131 km / h. At extra cost, the V60 will also be able to automatically brake at the rear transit detection.

The new V60 is built on an adaptive SPA platform, which also builds on the XC60 and the larger C90, making it possible to expect four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, including a hybrid version, under the bonnet. In fact, there will be two hybrids. The first will be the V60 T6, whose powertrain consists of an electric motor and a forced-filled four-cylinder petrol engine will produce 250 kW (340 hp) of power, the second will be the V60 T8 and will have as much as 287 kW (390 hp) of power. Of course , other kind of models will also be available, especially the V60 T40 turbocharged petrol which will be able to boast 140 kW (190 hp) of power, but will only be available in 2019. In the autumn, T5, T6 and D3 will be available and the D4 after. The first cars will be on the road in September, and the base version will have to be deducted at least 34,000.
