BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) - Saudi Arabia has denied the Washington Post report that claimed Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman ordered the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi last month.

According to the Washington Post, the Saudi Crown Prince called his brother Prince Khaled bin Salman to inform him about his intentions to assassinate Khashoggi.

"I never talked to him by phone and certainly never suggested he go to Turkey for any reason. I ask the U.S. government to release any information regarding this claim," Khalid bin Salman said in a tweet.

Several Saudi officials have denied the report as well, adding that the Crown Prince had no role in the murder of Khashoggi.
