Estonia will engage in crypto-currency assets

In Estonia, the Agency will be established to increase the market of cryptocapital. The main goal of the project will be to attract financial resources and further enhance the status of the country as a leader in technology and innovation, the portal "Economics" writes.

Among the main tasks of the Agency are consulting ICO projects, assistance with the launch of start-ups on the Token EST platform, the opening of the exchange to ensure the liquidity of crypto-active assets, and the provision of financing to projects that have successfully passed Due Diligence.

To implement the project, a new structure will be formed, including the non-profit organization TekenEST SA and the commercial TokenEST OÜ.

According to the publication, the project received approval and support from various public authorities. Thus, at the meeting with the MP and the Secretary General of the Centrist Party, Mikhail Korb, the project organizers discussed the growing role of the digital economy, as well as the need for legislative regulation of the crypto-currency market.

"Estonia has the image of a country that supports innovations and new technologies, which will undoubtedly positively affect the successful implementation of the project and help attract additional investments into the real sector of the Estonian economy," said Mikhail Korba.

To implement the project in January 2018 will be launched ICO TokenEST, which aims to attract 30 million euros.

Recall, in mid-November, the ministers of finance of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania signed a memorandum on cooperation in the development of the regional capital market, including the item on the promotion of distributed registry technologies.
