Felt-needs 感觉性需求

We are living in a world of consumerism. Those who are in the sales line are trying to meet the felt-needs of the people so that they can make a good income. In the end, the buyer gets the product but it may not really serve the real need.

It is a common concern of the elderly to be physically healthy. In other words, if there are products or supplements to help them healthy, they don’t mind paying for the products. The salesperson lays hold of the felt need of the elderly and tries to meet their need so that they can make money. However, the costly product may not necessarily effective to keep the elderly healthy.

Worse still, a felt need may not even be the real need of the person. For example, an elderly person who feels that he or she needs supplements to be healthy, but the real need may be regular physical exercise. More supplements may not be helpful but rather to hinder him or her seeing the real need.

Therefore, we need wisdom as the people try to meet our felt needs with their own motive. We need to know our real need, and secondly their motive of approaching us.

我们生活在一个备受消费主义影响的世界；而那些从事销售行业的人会尝试满足人们的感觉性需求，以便他们能够赚取丰厚的收入。最后，顾客获得了想要的产品，但事实上並不一定能解决他们真正的需求。

身体健康是许多老年人关注的问题。换句话说，如果有产品或补品可以帮助他们健康，他们会不介意付钱買下昂贵的产品。销售员乐以满足老年人的需求，并從销售中赚取利润。然而，昂贵的产品不一定能有效地维持老年人健康。

更糟糕的是感觉性需求常常不等于真正的需要。例如，一个老年人认为他需要补品才能保持健康，但他真正的需要可能是定期进行运动，因此更多的补充品並不能带来果效。反而，重视补品会使他看不见真正的需要。

所以，我们需要智慧，因为人会根据个人的动机来满足他人的需求。我们必须知道自己的真正需要，其次也要意识到别人接触我们的动机。

可口的食物很吸引人，到底它是要解决一个食者的感觉性亦或真正的需要呢？
