I made two covers for cushions in the living room. The cushions didn't have right covers for long and sometimes being naked ...
クッションのカバーをふたつ作りました。かわいそうに長いことぴったりのカバーがなくて、時に枕カバーをかけられたり、そのまま放置されたり・・・。産前からそんな状態でずっと気になっていました。
Recently I found an ideal fabric. I liked the pattern like that of a funny creature in a cartoon and and its comfy texture. Another good thing was the price of the fabric was good. I'm quite satisfied with the result :)
最近生地屋さんでぴったりの生地を見つけて衝動買いしました。漫画かアニメに出てくる間抜けなキャラクターみたいな模様と肌触りのよさに一目惚れして、お値段も手頃だったので。上々の出来上がりです。
Other than sewing the cushion covers, I continue working on my market basket. It will be ready in next weeks. I will write about it (I have a lot to talk ...) when it's done.
あとは子どもと遊びながらマーケット用のバスケットを編んでいます。あと何週間かでできるかな。完成したらまた詳しく書きます。

The fabric is lovely and makes you want to just cuddle up to the cushions. The texture surely is interesting.
And I love the basket. Two color crochet is on my "things I want to learn"-list :)
My daughter enjoys cuddling up, jumping on and hopping around with the cushion.
It's my first time to crochet using two yarns simultaneously. Seems it works good with two but can be too many strings when there are three or more. Actually I wanted to design with three colors ... I should write about it as a post. It gets too long :D

本当にスッキリしました。でもまだまだあるのです。クッションが置いてあるソファーは、何を思ったか白のソファーをお父ちゃんが買って来て、案の定子どもが汚して・・・で汚れの目立たない茶色のような落ち着いた色に張替えたいとこれまた長いこと考えています ;) 夏の宿題です。。。
バスケットもがんばります。これまた夏に完成させてマーケットに持って行きたくって！

" I'm now feeling somehow relieved to see that the idea to mimic Zulu basket design by crocheting. I wasn't sure it works in the beginning. I'll write a looong post about the basket soon. I have a lot to talk about it ;)

The cushion covers look really cuddly and soft. And I am loving the market basket. It looks rustic at the base yet elegant at the top. I 😍😍😍 the design.
