The Nebraska Senate race is only separated by a point in the polling.
If Osborn wins it could be an interesting Senate balance. He's running as an independent and it is unclear who he will caucus with.
In the Senate, each party votes for their party leader and the majority party has the majority leadership. So unfortunately can't get weird leadership outcomes like the House.
But Osborn and moderate Republicans like Lisa Murkowski would become very powerful individuals.
If he caucuses with the Dems and we get a tied Senate, he could shape the resulting power sharing agreement.
