Golden State Warriors Go Back To Back - 2018 NBA Champs! Let's Appreciate History

in #nba6 years ago (edited)

Congratulations to the Golden state warriors and their fans;

another reason I don't like all this "super teams are cheating' nonsense is because it's nonsense; and people lose appreciation for what they are witnessing.

It's not easy to take a team to 4 championships and win 3 of them; super tough to go back to back; Lots of Egos have to stay in Check; Lots of players gotta be willing to Go Hard for one another.

That's not what happened in Cleveland. Lebron carried that team there this year, but before that, had the help of Kyrie; with Kyrie they were a REAL Threat to G-state;

People are still saying if CP3 doesn't pull his hamstring, .... it might have just been Houston vs. Cleveland THIS year --- so let's not act like we are not witnessing something awesome; and historical; it's all good to admit this is good to see;

plus, when my Lakers are Running through Teams it's beyond annoying to hear y'all CRYING about how our team has all the stars, and gets all the calls and all that b.s. that keeps floating out here .... that's why I've been ranting lately about it. .... b/c why not. that's what it's for.

Kevin Love need to be shamed of himself; tf is he doing with his Career? All these players that suit up with Lebron and don't Compete are trash; all these players on all these teams too, are watered down. Like when can we be real?

How many Europeans are on this Golden State Team?

I'll wait ...... and I'm not hating on Europeans;

But about 10-15 years ago, NBA GM's started looking to 'expand' and they watered down the league in the process; drafting a bunch of players from Europe who frankly, aren't that good ..... (excluding the exceptions who pan out; the Ginobli's, the Dirks, the Porzingis's....)

but also --- there's a lot of High Schoolers and One Year Players Too of African Descent who 'also' do not belong out here; and aren't on This Golden State Roster --

Curry was Seasoned; Klay was Seasoned; Draymond was Seasoned; that Team BUILT a Squad up there and WE need to show some RESPECT in my opinion, as basketball fans for what they have accomplished.

They didn't BUILD a team around ROOKIES with barely any basketball experience; They built a team with Players that had 2-3 years of College experience; and then brought in quality Free Agents; Mostly who 'also' played more than one year in College ::: they didn't go try to find a "project from Overseas" either :: and that's what's mostly been wrong with the NBA -- there is a ton of HOME grown Talent that 'should' be in the NBA - but a lot of those players are the seasoned vets .... the ones who understand 'how' to play basketball and 'have' that work ethic and commitment.

Kevin Love was a One and Done.
Rare are there are a few One and Done players who 'show out' in the NBA -- same was the case with HighSchoolers; Kobe's, KG's, Lebron's, rare af..... and the audience watching needs to show more respect when we see what we are seeing right now ....

In my humble opinion ... of course.

Sort:

1 vs 5 it felt like, but yah I feel bad for Lebron because he was still a beast! And he tried to beat a whole team by himself, he even throw a pass of of the backboard last game to himself to score because everyone else too weak..

Off season is going to be out of control this year. Steph and Klay have the pro lineage. They didn't just come from NBA parents they came from two solid hard working NBA dads that treated basketball as a profession.

Still waiting for my Lakers to come back!

That is a great point you make, they are 100% made for this game from the most solid foundation!
