Tree of judah
In anticipation of spring, I sort out photos - I have thousands of thousands of them. The first spring notes have already appeared in Sofia: the birds are singing and the aromas are waking up. In the spring, the air in Sofia smells like flowering trees - very strong and drunk. One of these bright trees has a strange name, Iudino tree. Beautiful flowering tree, very common in Bulgaria. The scientific name is Cercis siliquastrum, that is, Cercis European or else Crimson European. Why, then, is his name Judaic tree. Because according to legend, it was on this tree that Judas hanged himself. And, they say, after that the white flowers turned into red. Small flowers are similar in shape to a weaving shuttle, and Cercis in Greek means "loom". Hence the explanation for another name. However, there is also an opinion about the "Judah" that this is a translation error - in fact, it is simply called Judean, because it grows in abundance in Judea.
And there in the distance Stara Planina (Old Mountain). This is not quite Sofia - this is the road to the sea.
Thank you for your time and attention.
