Winged Serpents in India, Africa, and the Bible

Accounts of pterosaur-like creatures living alongside humanity often come up all throughout history. Herodotus, a Greek historian, wrote about lots of “winged serpents” living in Arabia in the 5th century Before Christ.

The bible describes 'fiery flying serpents' in the book of Isaiah, living in the desert with camels and men.

Reports of pterosaurs still alive in modern day are recorded in Africa and India. Some of the flying dinosaurs are said be nocturnal, and have a bioluminescent feature. These could be the fiery flying serpents described in the book of Isaiah.

One such identity is of a flying reptile natives call “Kongamato”, a creature often [speculated to be] seen in the jungles of South Africa.
