Wasps and Lady Bugs are dining on my ripened grapes "Farm Life"

While photographing the yard and clearing up debris for the approaching winter season, we started harvesting our grapes and stumbled upon a festive event hosted by wasps and lady bugs feasting on the ripened grapes. DSC_3437-2.jpgDSC_3436.jpg

There has been an abundance of wasps this year and I took out 4 large nests this year as well as an abundance of lady bugs that apparently are from Asia that were brought in to assist in reducing aphid counts.

Captured with a Nikon D610 105mm Nikkor Micro.

Fantastic photos of these wasps and lady bugs! Hope you didn't get stung when you took out the nests. Tip!

nice capture pict bro, it's cool.

follow and upvote me to, will do the same to.

Thank you!

Sorry to hear about the bugs, but the shots are beautiful.

Not much to be sorry about, the life of everything keeps us in sync...we are all here surviving, the bugs are thriving on my grapes...lol!

Good way to look at it! What do you usually make with the grapes?

Mostly jams and juice concentrate. We also have some plums which have already been processed into jellies.

That sounds amazing. So I must ask what is the difference between a jam and a jelly?

Jelly is pretty much jellied juice and jam has slices of fruit.

Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up! Which one do you prefer?
