About the rivers of Bangladesh

Hi all. Today I'm gonna tell you guys about the rivers of Bangladesh. Though each country in the world have rivers, I think the rivers of BANGLDESH are best all of them.

Bangladesh is a land of rivers. The prosperity, the health, wealth and happiness of Bangladesh depends on her rivers. She have a lot of small and big rivers. The big and wide rivers of Bangladesh are the Padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna etc. And some of the small rivers are the Buriganga, the Dhaleswari. the Sitalakshya, the Teesta, the Madhumati, the Gumati, the Karnafuli. Maximum of them born from the HIMALAYAS and fall into the Bay of Bengal

The rivers are soo important for us. Bangladesh is an agriculture country. The main source of the water for cultivation comes from the rivers. Also the water of these rivers make the soil fertile. In bangali there is a proverb Mache-Vate Bangali. Which means the main food of bangalis are fish and rice. And the rivers serve us a lot of fish every year. We can sale them to other countries and earn foreign currency. The rivers also take part in communication. They are the main ways of communication. And the water roads can save our time and it costs less then the normal roads.

And the most important thing is, a big amount of the total electricity produced in Bangladesh by using the current of the rivers.The rivers have a great influence on the people of our country. Once the rivers were too strong and useful. But nowadays maximum of the rivers are dying only because of the unawereness of the people. But I personally think that in this case the government can not do anything to save the world. Only the peoples of Bangladesh can save our rivers. They must be aware about it.
