Time To Embrace a Treeific Tuesday With Moringa + Pear

in #nature6 years ago

Taking time to observe the things in nature can give us joy. Sometimes we can be awed by plants that look alike. I got to learn of such when someone mentioned another plant as if it were the one I wanted to know about. The picture look similar although he differences become more noticeable at a closer look.

This is my entry for @old-guy-photos #treetuesday challenge.

A Moringa tree

I wish to make it a double showcase of Tree. This second one is not too common, as it is more common in the African Continent.

African Pear/ Bush Pear

It is Pink in color prior to Maturity, but changes to black or blue after maturity. It is usually combined with Corn. You just need to apply hot water to it, to soften it before enjoying your Maize with it.

I will like to know, have you seen or heard about any of the Trees above? Do you know its usefulness? Please feel free to drop your comments, we may end up Feeding our brains with some new and interesting things.

Thank you @emjoe. And so sorry about somehow missing your Post. But I went right now to check it out. Again , thank you friend :)

You are welcome. We get too busy with life sometimes. It is quite understandable :)

Moringa, yes I know, we have one in the field but the second one I did not know, thank you very much for sharing

Thanks @Sheilamenher for coming over. What do you use the moringa for?

The second tree is mainly found in Africa. I will share the ripe fruit soon

My family takes it in tea, which works as an antioxidant, restores the cells and prevents cancer

Wow, thanks for this info
