Boldog Karácsonyt! Merry Christmas!

If I say Boldog Karácsonyt! in Hungarian, it means something way deeper what Merry Christmas! can represent. Who knows the beauty of the Hungarian Language can easily understand, who doesn't just believe it. 😉

Galloping Wonder Stag

Here is the explanation:

If I write down the name of this event with our ancient symbols, looks something like this:

Karácsun (kará+csun) = Christmas

Reading backward, explaining the symbols one-by-one is something like this in Hungarian and Eglish below:

    ] = KARÁCSUN (Karácsony)

} = A feketeség csúcsa és annak “átfordulása” után egyre nő a fény,
    a világosság ideje.

English explanation

} = The peak of darkness and turning over to the rejuvenation of light,
    time of lighting.

To understand the real meaning behind, good to know, the time of this event was exactly the Solstice before the Christians disrupted by forcing us to shift the date.

The Hungarian name of this holiday has no relation to the born of Christ or any kind of modern religions because it was used before Christianity.

History

On this night our ancestors made the biggest fire on the top of the mountains to look at the darkness at every level (as above, so below, as outside, so inside). On this night they are faced with the devil, they have been identified with her to defeat and let the Divine Light fill their body, mind, and soul.

Every person of the community and most of the animals were participating on this sacred ceremony, where the light of the fire and the disinfecting smoke were the keys to prepare for the rejuvenating time of spring.

This is the true story of this night by the ancient world of faith that nurtures Mother Nature as Goddess and the Sun as Creator Father.

I will talk about the Christmas tree later… 😉 worth to Follow
