In The Middle Of Natural Catastrophe, All Men Are Equal... Then What's Next?
It has been proven in many instances in the midst of extreme calamities, all people are equal.
Even if some have food and water stored, it does not last long. Even when you thought you are in a safe place, life wouldn't be as smooth as it is. Even there are few differences left for the sufferers, it still gradually loses. Everyone comes back to being simple with the same needs - water, food, medicine, clothing, roof, light.
The bible says:
Philippians 2:6
who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,

What would you do with glittering jewelry, millions of money in the bank, luxury vehicles, home like a palace, when everything around you is covered with water, all banks, markets, shopping centers are closed, no electricity and roads cannot be passed because everything piled up.

Wealth is of no profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness keeps a man safe from death.

The test of nature is considered to be a flip by those who believe in God to awaken each one of us and to acknowledge His power. But to those who don't believe in Him, the natural disasters are just a result of man's negligence that comes back to him, if we will just think about it, it's just the same - God is the creator of all. If we notice, there's only one name for these people who are affected - God. Someone calls for help, someone repents and asks Him why He let it happen. It only proves that God is in human's mind and it's being forgotten until the trial comes through disasters.
The bible says:
Deuteronomy 8:2
"You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.
