Imported rice from Thailand for Indonesia

Hi ... Steemians ...

In 2018, Government of Indonesia re-imported rice from neighboring Thailand. Especially for Aceh Province, this year's rice import quota was 150 tons.

To import imported rice from Thailand, specifically for Aceh, was transported by two ships. one ship containing 760 tons of rice, and one more ship containing 740 tons of rice.

The process of dismantling imported rice was carried out in port of Krueng Geukuh, Aceh Utara Regency, Aceh Province. On Friday, September 14 2018, first ship was dismantled.

Rice which had been unloaded from ship, was then taken to Bulog warehouse (an Indonesian state company handling the rice section). According to Bulog officials, rice will be stored in three regions, namely Lhokseumawe, Langsa, and Sigli.

Ahead of famine season, it is estimated that starting November 2018, imported rice will distributed to market, in order to maintain stability of rice prices.

Next, I show six photos of process of dismantling imported rice in port of Krueng Geukuh, Aceh Utara Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia:
