Guys read and enlighten me

Have been wondering how this platform works.... I posted couple of things and I got some returns but actually when I joined in my wallet at the extreme down part I saw $3.23 but when I woke up today it has dropped to $3.19.
Please I need more enlightenment on this and also the stages of payment and must i be paid in bitcoins
