Indeed, there are a few ways to freely earn cryptocurrencies. In this regard, I will point out to two ways.

First, you can earn free cryptos through airdrops. Airdrops happen when a new crypto project wants to reach the masses. You can spot these airdrops, do what is necessary, and fill your wallets with some free tokens.

Second, there are dapps that pay people for using it or doing certain tasks. Steemit is one dapp that rewards authors for their works.
