Law is all rules (norms) that must be obeyed in the conduct of actions in the association of life with the threat of having to compensate if violating these rules will endanger yourself or property, for example people will lose their independence, be fined and so on. (M.H. Tirtaamidjata, S.H.)

TYPES OF LAW

  1. Criminal law
Criminal law belongs to the domain of public law. Criminal law is a law that regulates the relationship between legal subjects in the case of deeds that are required and prohibited by law and result in the application of sanctions in the form of punishment and / or fines for violators.

  2. Civil law
One area of law that regulates the relationships between individuals in society with certain channels. Civil law also known as private law or civil law. One example of civil law in society is buying and selling a house or vehicle.

Civil law can be classified as:

a) Family law

b) Property law

c) Law of things

d) Engagement Law

e) Inheritance Law

  1. Law of the event
To uphold the material law, procedural law is needed or often also called formal law. Event law is a provision that regulates how and who is authorized to enforce material law in the event of a violation of the material law. Without clear and adequate procedural law, those who have the authority to uphold the material law will have difficulty enforcing the material law. To enforce the provisions of the criminal law, criminal procedural law is required, for civil law, there is a civil procedural law. Whereas, for the state administrative law, state administrative procedures are needed. Criminal procedural law must be controlled primarily by police, prosecutors, lawyers, judges, and prison officials.
According to me personally the principle is a guideline or you could say the handle of one's life in living life in this world. For example: Someone has a principle that if he does not want corruption, then in living his life he will not commit acts of corruption, unless he violates the principle he has made. So you could say that this principle exists in every individual or human being, if someone does not have a principle, he does not have a guide or a handle on life.

I personally have a principle that I hold on to this principle that is "Run this life righteously, not to turn or deviate and stay in the way of God". This means that in carrying out this life we must remain in a positive path, be it action, behavior, or deed, not in a negative path and remain in the way of God.

There may also be those who ask "do the principles we have held can apply to someone else who is guilty of us?" I replied "YES", why? because if we already have a principle that we have held, then when someone else makes a mistake whether it is one or two times to us, then we must stick to our principles, that the person is guilty, and we have the right to enforce the principles we have. If we do not apply these principles, then we violate the principles we have made so far.
