People who have confidence in themselves, can do everything, as you mention, can move mountains simply by believing in themselves.  

While a person who lacks self-confidence, is more reserved, is separated from other people for fear of being rejected either by their physical or believing that they are worth less as a person before others. 

In this sense the psychological factor is very influential.
