If wish i could get 10 Million Steem power (SP) I will use to curate and support people like musing and make a platform on steemit and help those people who cannot earn from steemit as with upvoting them with higher amount. Also i will upvote myself and make 2-3 post daily as i will increase my SP in future and may get some amount more than 50$ of upvote i will get with 10 million SP and this is just the future and dream it will not be in realistic because rare people will trust it and invest such a huge amount on steemit.

If 10 million Sp someone buys then there will be a huge price of steem coin and steem dollar as it is used to buy in bulk the price will 100% increase and may my original steem power i have around 35 steem it will increase my account value.I will make a website and make a curation platform and help those people who are working regularly and not getting proper amount of upvotes on their post.

Moved to the Hive platform.

If l had 10 million worth of sp l had power down all sp then spend half of them for myself and half of them for projects.

Definitely I would use it for curation, because that is how the platform can be enriched. And it will have effect on the price of Steem. I wish, all the whales would do that, and thus help the platform spread.

Hmmm... 10 million SP affords a lot of options.  The one thing I absolutely would not do is delegate any SP to bidbots.  I've read plenty of articles arguing both sides of the bidbot issue, and the conclusion I've reached is that they are a scourge to the STEEM ecosystem that does not help STEEM's chances of gaining widespread acceptance.  10 million SP is not enough to effectively combat bidbots though, as they control more than twice that amount of SP.

The best option available to me then, would be to manually curate and support folks who produce quality and/or interesting content that I enjoy reading.  If I were to run into a situation where I did not have the time to curate, then I would look to delegating to users known to spread their upvotes around a lot (e.g. surpassinggoogle), and/or delegating to manual curation projects like curie.

Definitely manual curation. I would take profits on it also by manually upvoting. Yes, it is Steem Power that you get for manually upvoting content, but that is good profit also. You can power down whenever you feel like taking out your profits, so yes definitely I will be a manual curator. I can only imagine how would people feel waking up with some generous upvotes from me :)

Cash out about 1 million steem over the course of a couple years to keep the price from dropping hard, and be able to live comfortably for life.

Power up 7 million steem. Of that 7 million-

  • 2 million would go to investing in bots like @postpromoter, @moonbot, etc. and small, new projects.
  • 1 million would go into my own bot, @kiwibot, so I can continue to run and grow that project.
  • 1.5 million would go into Minnowbooster delegations.
  • 2.5 million would go into funding non-profit projects like @busy.org and @musing.

The other 2 million steem would go into investing into new bots and platforms slowly over the course of many, many years.

Great question, though at the same time discusses about controversial topic on the Steem ecosystem. I've talked about this already I think but i wont mind reiterating myself.

Steem Power or Vests are a representation of the stake ownership to the rewardpool's distribution direction. When one participates in vote buying / selling, They are essentially rent-seeking and commoditizes the decision making of rewarding content. Why would people bother to make good content when they can pay x amount steem to make "x + clean profit". What is the value of Steem if you can pay 1 steem to get more than 1 steem?

Anyone who participates the current vote buying /selling market is pocketing quick profits at the expense of the future economy of the whole Steem ecosystem. This not arguing the morality of whether such rent-seeking is just or otherwise because some people just don't care. They will tell you in your face that "Steem is a scam so profit while the going is good" (and miss out on what it actually can be) and be on his merry way.

I personally would not want to take part in this endemic. If I own 10 Million SP i'd be very sure to hire folks whose full time job would be to flag the hell out of rent-seekers. Damn what they say about self-righteousness. vote-buying isn't supposed to be so blatantly for-profit.

Let's make first visible what 10 million would mean in Steem. Steem price is currently at 0.881 USD, so 10 million USD would be worth 11,350,737 STEEM. If you'd power everything up this makes an upvote worth 588$.

I would personally use it just for curation (and curate fulltime) as you earn enough through curation rewards. My calculations result in weekly curation rewards of over 5,000 SP. This is a pretty good income just by curating.

Of course you could increase your gainings by some self-votes or delegating to bid-bots and i cannot tell if I wouldn't do this in such a situation but from my current point of view, no.
