Musical Mood Of The Day: Irish Guitarist Rory Gallagher

Hello there, fellow Steem users! Today I would like to write a couple of lines on one of the most distinguished electric guitarists of all time, namely Rory Gallagher. Born and raised in his native Ireland, Rory Gallagher was a versatile multi-instrumentalist who played a wide variety of string instruments such as guitar, bass, dobro, dulcimer, mandolin, banjo, and sitar. In addition, he was also a fine blues vocalist and, occasionally, he performed songs on harmonica and saxophone.

During the 1960s, prior to becoming a successful national and international solo artist, Rory Gallagher was also the frontman of a relatively short-lived Irish blues rock band called Taste. Throughout his entire solo career, he managed to record and release a number of no less than 11 studio albums, 6 live albums, and 5 singles.
