I definitely work hard and enjoy all the pleasures of the material world, and encourage everyone to partake. With that I also try to not get caught too much up in it all. Not lose sight of what really matters in life. Something that is far beyond what material satisfaction can bring. Every once in a while, when things calm down and I stare off into the distance it hits me. I am lucky. Although to my greatest honest open heart I wish everyone to have this same luck I know there are many on earth who are not as lucky. The very fact that I even have a moment to reflect and become deeply aware of this luck is one profound gift. The greatest gift of my existence and that I have in my life is something that is hard to explain. It can’t be held in one’s hand. It can’t be possessed. But it is real and it can be felt. It can bring both pain and unbelievable joy to the point of tears. It is love. Love is something we need to share, nurture, teach, and pass on to one another. It is what brings us together. It is what gets us through difficult times. It is what creates the best of times. So, live for love. Find love. Share love. Experience love every moment you can. If you have love you need nothing else. Having and knowing it, and being aware you have and know it, is the greatest gift of all.
