Charlie 9ines
BIO: Charlie 9ines is a 25 year old American born rapper hailing from the city of Manchester NH. Charlie 9ines had a promising career in his later teen years, but due to trouble with the law, severe heroin addiction, and going to prison a few times, his career was stunted. Fresh out of lock up and back on the streets of Florida and trying to stay sober he packed up and drove west towards Colorado where he settled. After creating a life in the city of Denver and Brighton, he has decided to start his rap career back up!! 9ines had been back at it for under 90 days and has already released 6 songs (2 being short freestyle remixes to taste and swish by tyga) and has gained a following of 300+ on twitter. Charlie 9ines Is trying to bring back Club Style Rap beats, with murderous style lyricism. As his saying goes “Ride the 🌊 or get 💦” Charlie 9ines is back with a vengeance, and he will not stop. Most improtantly this artist is ONE with his fan base. He doesn’t think of them as “fans” they are his family. 9ines is doing this not just for his love of music and rap/hip hop as a whole, but for rap/hip hop fans everywhere. He is more then just a rapper, he embodies what rap/hip hop is all about. From battle rapping to creating songs and doing graffiti in his spare time. He lives this life, and 9ines wants to bring a relatable life to the light for his FAMILY to relate to, using murderous lyrics and beats that slap in the club. Much love and much respect to all of the Charlie 9ine supporters out there. WE ARE ONE!!

Turn up
Good lyricist
Hip hop is not really my thing. However I do appreciate it as an art form now more than I used to.
Im guessing he speaks from his experiences, which to be fair is what most artists do.
Good use of synth. Ive listened to a lot of hi hop that has been sent my way recently, and a lot of stuff sounds like someone saying a mediocre poem over a shit beat thats been done on a £20 pound casio keyboard from the toy shop. But this seems much better produced, you know its synth, but its good synth and well produced. Id like to see more live band hiphop. There int enough of that I don't think. It seems everyone wants to be a rapper. I dont like it when someone sends a message saying they are a rapper. I feels like they are selling themselves short, and thats not to say rap is a bad thing, because I do like it but what I mean is. Take say Michael Jackson for example. His wouldnt describe himself as a singer. Hed describe himself as an artist, a pop artist and singing is a part of that. Same with charlie, He says hes a rapper, but id say no, rap is just one part of his art. Id say Hes a hip hop artist. If you create original material, you are an artist, thats what art is. A simple rapper or singer is what you get on the x factor and shows like that. Cant produce a piece of art of their own so just go copy someone else. So yes rant over. Last call
Brilliant upbeat song. A definate toe tapper, even found myself having a bit of a jig to this while waiting for food to do in the microwave. Big country sound. Mixed and mastered very well. Its been mastered in such a way that if you close your eyes, it almost feel like a live performance and youre on stage. You can picture the pianist and rythem guitarist to your immediate right, lead guitarist to your left which makes me think they either mixed and masterd it themselves or worked very closely with the person that did. nice! I enjoyed it.

Don't let my ink fade

Love this. Very original, great use of synth, very reminiscent of gotye in his sound but very much original. Cretive and in no way predictable. I just like it a lot. it is what it is, a great piece of music.

MXK

Bio:
MXK stared off making edm/pop type music which is where he would songwrite, produce songs and is where he found an artist to sing on the track confessions (feat. Austin Nivarel) or the EP Summer Vibes.
As he got more and more into hiphop, he discovered that he could sing. So with his latest release he is showing the new path that he is taking. A new single is on the way in mid November.

Confessions

very strong 80s feel about it. First few second reminded me of the Stranger things theme. Also strong elements of 90s and 00s. He seems to take the bet of those decades and fuse them into one song and blend it seemlessly. Bit like the killers in parts, and then in other parts Robbie williams solo stuff that he did.
all round good song easy song to have a good dance to,

Is it still OK
Very trancey. Would go really well on an Ibiz chillout sessions album. Great full sound, quite memorizing, probably wouldnt be out of place on a pure moods album along side the likes of Enya, tubular bells and all that kind of music. Takes me back about 1 to 20 years when I used to listen to sash, Faithless and the lykes.. I like it. Very easy listening. Synthpop slash trance at its best never wentout of fasion I dont think, people still love it now as much as they did then, Just not as heard of anymore. So in answer to the title of the track title. Yes it is still ok.

Psyco at the end of the street

Interesting lyrics. Got a bit of a Burbs feel about it. Kind of thing you and your friends talk about when kids. The mysterious man at the end of the street. I wonder if the song is in someway in referance to themselves, as I could find very little about them. Very elusive for a band trying to get their name out there. Had to do research on them as they didnt provide much and the link to their website was broken so couldnt find anything there. I could have typed their band name in google however they didnt state the name of their band in their bio. But after a little digging i got their Soundcloud, twitter, facebook and instagram, which also doesnt say much about them. Ill leave the links in the notes. I wouldnt usually put myself out like that but I liked the song a lot and it made me curious. but to any artist listening if you send your work, can you please send all relevent information. Streaming links, social media links, Bio and mp3 of the track you want to plug.

Love this song. Takes me back to about 97, 98. When you had bands like space, babylon zoo. It also has a bit of a 70s feel about it some of that psychedelic era, like pink floyed ( Neil would probably love it) Love that reverb turned up to the max sound on the guitars. Has an effect on his voice in parts which i like. Not usually an advocate for effects on voices as it usually means you are trying to do something that you cant sing but when used as an effect within the song as in this case it works really well.

ill leave all relevant info and links in the show notes.

Lucy Raquel and Me
1/3 from Canberra, Australia, Lucy 1/3 from California, Racquel 1/3 from Paris, France, Me We never met, but our lyrics, voice and music have.

We have never met. there are, literally, thousands of kilometres between the 3 of us.
Right now, it’s morning for Lucy in Australia, 5:30, early afternoon for Racquel, California 12:30, and it’s almost time for bed for me, 21:30.

It all began because of Lucy. Both of us were registered on a songwriting forum.
I worked with another member at the time and I posted some songs recorded with a danish singer. I guess Lucy found thoses songs interesting enough to make contact with me. She sent me some lyrics, I wrote some music, sent it to her, and that was it
Vocals have always been the main instrument in my music!
I sent a song to Racquel, All true with just a piano and my voice she sang it – the result was beautiful!
LRAM was born. 20 songs to date and more to come

pull down the moon
I initially took to these guys because of their story. A lot like the band The postal service. Nice easy listening music, and because of the different areas, you can recognise all the different influences but somehow have managed to blend it all seamlessly that guitar screams european, The vocals are screams America, Cant pick out the Austrailia however they dont really have a distinct sound I dont think. My guess would be that that Lucy does the Percussion and drums but I might be wrong. Good band check them out in all the usual places.
