Courtney Barnett - Tell Me How You Really Feel

Last year Courtney teamed up with Kurt Vile to create the beautiful 'Lotta Sea Lice" which proved the two artists deserved their high praise. Together they built off of each other's strengths and helped one another grow as song writers. 'Tell Me How You Really Feel' is a great example of this. You can tell Courtney was influenced by Kurt on songs like "Walkin' On Eggshells". It's great to see artists collaborating and growing to create even better music for themselves and for us.

Favorite Track: Nameless, Faceless

Spirit Club - Slouch

Imagine Nathan Williams from Wavves making a new age Beach Boys album. "Nah, that would be crazy! There's no way that would happen". Well, that was my thought going into this, but boy was I wrong. All the ingredients say this project should fail, but somehow it doesn't. I think this is my favorite album Nathan has ever been apart of.

Favorite Track: Fast Ice

The KLF - Chill Out

There isn't much to say about this other than it is one of the greatest ambient albums of all time. A lot of ambient albums fall into the trap of creating a nice sound, but repeating it for 10 mins too long. 'Chill Out' shines because it manages to keep your attention the whole album.

There's no need for a favorite track. It's about experiencing the album as a whole.
