This is a compilation of songs, dedicated to the artists who have produced some of the most memorable and popular songs over time, in an effort to speak out and rid humanity from oppression, the horrors of war and re-direct our energies back toward peace and freedom for all.

This will be a multi-part series spanning different generations and styles of music.

love this entire post!! soo many good songs that i love on here!

here's my contribution:

Oh yeah, that's already on the list:) Coming soon!

Great list you've compiled here @palikari123 can't choose a number one, but "Fortunate son" is a close contender. Hmm Redemption song/Pink Floyd lol

Thanks PF!...It's a tough choice sometimes to single out a particular favourite, but there's more to come so hold that decision back a little while longer lol. If I really had to choose one though, I would say The Trooper from Iron Maiden, just for those amazing and colourful lycra pants!

Here's mine...

Thanks for the tune Rich! That's a great song from Huey Lewis and the News...I will use it in one of the follow up posts I have planned.

I'm sure that song and the lyrics specifically, have a special significance to you personally....

It does, when I think of those days this is what comes to mind more than the others.

The filternet only allows me to view Pink Floyd.....
