Music for the restless souls: Meet the Trouble Notes
My work is internet based, so I spend a great deal of my time online.
During one of my online surfing moments, I came along this video, that I literally kept listening again and again…!
Of course I searched it up, I found out who the group members are and I would like to share it with you today, as a motivation for everybody that reads this story.
This is about someone who decided to not ride with the flow, a restless soul who followed his dream. .
The Trouble Notes constitutes of the American violinist Bennet Cerven, the German guitarist Florian Eisenshidt and the British drummer Oliver Maguire. Their music is a mix of musical shades from around the world, contemporary sounds of indie rock, hip hop, Argentinean tango, flamenco, jazz with lots of improvisation.
The adventure started when Bennet decided to listen to the ‘whispers’ coming out of his violin and traveled to London, Ireland Prague, Berlin, after having played a lot in the streets of New York.
Meeting an ideological soul mate Oliver and after finding a till then missing comrade in Berlin, they packed up their lives to follow their theme, in a never-ending adventure, bringing their music everywhere.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.
