Hey Steemians!

I hope you are all feeling great today, I know I am. It is a great day to jam another classic song and certainly one that I love personally. This one is much easier than the last episodes song. Its a great song to sing at parties and great for development of your guitar skills! Lets jump right in.

Tom Petty - Free Fallin/ Level : Beginner

First off we are gonna take a listen to the actual track itself. Listen close to the intro riff. This riff is extremely important, with that its the main riff of the song. Some stronger guitar parts are to come as well so be ready to jam heavy. Whether youre playing acoustic or electric, this is a good one to play. Lets listen:

Now that we have listened to the track itself we can talk more about the chords. Taking a look at the tabs we can see that these chords are very basic, and if you have followed this course you should have zero problem with this one. Now playing and singing can be challenging but these guitar chords are definitely simple and I certainly believe in you... Lets take a look at the chords and a chord chart

As you see during the bridge we have a part where you palm mute. This is a special technique that mutes the strings with your palm haha as obvious as it seems. This is something I did no understand at first. Look up some good tutorials on youtube.
