A quick update from your pal @grow-pro

It has been well over two months since my family and I were living at home and I am happy to say that the return home is nearing! It's been a hectic few months but we are heading down the final stretch of this marathon (I think..lol). For those who have no idea what the hell I've been up to, here's a quick rundown:

• Basement flooded in our home (x3 in two weeks)

• We had mold that required serious mitigation

• Upon demolition of the finished areas of our home, we found further issues we had not anticipated

• I found electrical, plumbing, and structural issues that needed immediate repair

• Groundwater issues outside when it rains heavily, so regrading and drainage systems have to be installed

• We had to move all of our belongings out of the house in order to make repairs

• Drywall, paint, mortar, scrubbing, etc had to be done on literally 95% of the home.

It's bad, but could be far worse

So, being displaced from our home was absolutely necessary due to the dangers of the environment (dust, mold spores, etc). I decided to tackle the repairs on my own and have my family stay at my Parent's house (THANKS MOM & DAD!). I've been back and forth between school drop-off and pick-up, the hardware and supply stores and back to my home to work and it has been tireless. 16-22 hours per day and 7 days a week, I'm going full-press. The mold is gone, our home is nearly back together and we are hoping to be back home by the weekend. The work will continue, but at least we will be back home!

Some of you might notice some undelegation but this is necessary to clear the hurdles my life has before me. I assure you all that I am not going anywhere, just taking some much-needed funds to help alleviate some serious strain right now. I am still a STEEMIAN with high hopes for this platform. Here's something I had up my sleeve for some time now...
